Jason Seale is the director of the Hartbeespoortdam Snake and Animal Park and a member of Herpetological Association of Africa. He is also a Course Presenter Registered with CPD (Continuing Professional Development). Jason is registered with HPCSA ( Health Professions Council of South Africa). He is a member of National Snakebite Advisory group and an advisor to Private and Government Hospitals, Clinics, and veterinary clinics with regards to Identification of Snakes.
Professional presentations that he has done include the following:
- Presentation for South African Society for Surgery of the Hand 49th annual congress 2018 on Snake envenomation.
- Presentation to the South African Orthopedic Surgeons Association in 2019 on South African Snakes and Snake Bites.
- Presentation on Snake Bites and Specific Snake bite area’s to Netcare UnionHospital, Millpark Hospital, Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa and WITS.
- University post graduate students studying tropical medicine and hygiene.
